1.The processing of personal data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulations (“GDPR “ ).
2. The Rotary Club of Ripon (“ the Club “) is the data controller and decides how your personal data is processed and for what purposes.
3. The Club complies with its obligations under the GDPR by keeping personal data up to date; by storing and destroying it securely; by not collecting or retaining data without legitimate reasons for doing so; by protecting data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure and by ensuring that the appropriate technical measures are in place to protect personal data.
4. The Club uses your personal data for communication of news, events , activities and rider’s information associated with Ripon Rotary Bike Ride . You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by visiting the website Newsletter section.
5. The legal basis for processing your personal data is your explicit consent or the processing of it is necessary to comply with legal obligations. Personal financial information may be collected in specific circumstances where lawful and necessary (e.g. in order to process payment of money ).
